CIAS Affiliates Program
Help support the mission of CIAS by joining as an affiliate.
The tax-deductible membership investment supports CIAS initiatives, programs,
and services for students, faculty, and industry. Program benefits include:
Technical Interaction
Annual visit by company technical leaders to CIAS to meet with CIAS directors and faculty researchers
Priority access to CIAS faculty, students, and research staff for consulting and sponsored research tasks
Early access to research reports
An opportunity to send personnel to work at CIAS in collaboration with CIAS staff and equipment for five days annually,
subject to University policy and execution of a Visiting Scientist/Engineer agreement
An annual visit by CIAS faculty and/or CIAS research staff to present latest research results in CIAS labs under this Program.

Facilitated access to undergraduate and graduate student recruiting
Externship opportunities for top students to visit company sites
Education
Nominate guest speakers for one or more graduate or undergraduate courses
Propose individual project topics for advanced undergraduate or graduate courses
Visibility
Company name will appear on CIAS web page and other material
Title sponsorship of one undergraduate or graduate scholarship award
Prominent recognition as sponsor of the CIAS Seminar, which is attended by UT Austin
faculty, students, and staff and by members of the Austin technical community
Nominate a technical speaker for the CIAS Seminar
